*Returning Player rate is available to players who were registered with Delta Ringette Association for the 2020/2021 season and register and pay in full no later than June 30, 2021.
**Full-time goalies in U14 and above, with their own equipment and submit registration and payment by September 15, 2021 are entitled to the Goalie Rate. Full-time Goalies who pay the “Goalie Rate” are not eligible for any other discounts.
DRA offers a $95 deposit at this time with 2 equal installment payments of the remainder to be automatically charged Sept 15 and Oct 15. The installment offers are only available for registrations made online on or before Sept 15.
- SIBLING DISCOUNT: Families with 3 or more players get $25 off the 3rd, 4th players (returning players only, if registered at the same time.
All refunds are subject to a non-refundable administration fee of $25 that will be deducted from any refund granted.
- Full Refund: If withdrawing up to and including Sept. 15, 2021
- 50% Refund: If withdrawing between Sept. 16 and October 15, 2021
- No Refund: If withdrawing after October 15, 2021
NSF CHEQUES: A $25 charge will be applied to any NSF returned cheque.
In the case of financial hardship there are programs such as Jumpstart and Kidsport available. These programs require applications well in advance of the season. Applications must be submitted directly to these organizations, and the process varies. Contact the Registrar if you have questions about the application process.
DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, ELIGIBLE VOLUNTEER TASKS AND REQUIREMENTS MAY BE CHANGED MID-SEASON.
Delta Ringette Association is run entirely by volunteers and new volunteers are always needed.
Each family is required to provide 5 hours of volunteer time per player (max 10 hours required per family) in addition to helping with team duties (score-keeping, time-keeping…)
A volunteer cheque, post-dated to April 1, 2022, of $100 per player (max. $200 per family) is required prior to going on the ice. The cheques will be returned or destroyed upon completion of the required volunteer hours.
Please keep a watch for volunteer opportunities throughout the season to ensure that your hours can be completed before March 31st. Volunteer opportunities include helping at tournaments, Come Try Ringette events, coaching, team managers, and other opportunities that arise throughout the season.
